Es sollen 30cm in den nächsten 24h fallen. Ist ja fast so wie man es im Dezember aus Deutschland gehört hat :-)
Gerade eben habe ich folgende eMail vom CIE (vergleichbar mit dem Akademische Auslandsamt) der Uni erhalten:
You’ve experienced the freezing temperatures, now it’s time for some snow…a lot of snow, actually.
Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for the city and much of southern Ontario, in anticipation of an expected 30 centimetres of snow, which will arrive within the next 24 hours.
Flurries will start to arrive on Tuesday afternoon, with most of the heavy snow coming after midnight.
So far, the University has not issued a statement about any class cancellations or office closures. However, before you head out the door tomorrow, remember to check the U of T home page[...]
Make sure to dress warmly, be safe and enjoy a real Canadian winter day!

Dann warten wir mal ab und sehen wie sich ein "Snowstorm" hier in Toronto so anfühlt!
[Update]
Im Endeffekt war es dann doch ein normaler Wintertag. Es gab schätzungsweise 15cm Schnee. Die Uni ist (leider ;-) ) ganz normal weiter gelaufen. Nur in den Außenstellen in Scarborough und Mississauga wurde der Betrieb eingestellt (siehe UofT-Status).
